when I was a teenager
I thought my vulnerability
would vanish when I would become an adult
adults seemed to me all to be so tough
I was wrong
more than that
I have the feeling
to become more vulnerable and tender
the older I become
as long as I’m able to love
I will be vulnerable
otherwise I would already be dead
in a living body
